MK February 18
From the Editor
And welcome to February. Love is in the air as many of us prepare to spend a romantic evening with our partner. If you like Indian food and want to spend Valentine’s out, Calcutta Brasserie in Stony Stratford is hosting a special evening along with live entertainment (see page 3). If you haven’t got a date yet, take a look at page 16 where Teresa Welch looks at the different on-line dating sites.
It’s half term this month and if you are looking for things to do then consider Milton Keynes Museum, it has activities for children all week, Monday 12th to Friday 16th February, 11am–4.30pm. Visit www.mkmuseum.org.uk or telephone 01908 316222. Green Dragon Eco Farm is running a ‘Love Your Pets’ half term event with a variety of educational and fun experiences, see page 9 for details.
Take a visit to MK Central Library (upstairs) to view the MK50 Showcase Exhibition to relive MK’s fantastic 50th birthday, it is on now until 22nd February. The free exhibition has been designed to give a snapshot of what happened during 2017. The displays will feature elements from the amazing exhibitions, events and projects created and staged during the MK50 year to celebrate our unique city, and there’ll also be workshops taking place throughout the exhibition period. Visit www.mk50.co.uk for more information. Mark Lancaster MP recently showed the Leader of the House of Commons, Andrea Leadsom, around the MK50 Showcase Exhibition.
