MK September 2015
From the Editor
Welcome to September folks! So the Summer is almost over and the kids will be back to school in no time. Meanwhile, we prepare to drift into Winter – seriously, where on earth does the time go?
We have been super busy this month as we have launched a second Pulse Magazine – NN Pulse. This one covers 20,000 ABC1 homes in Northamptonshire and the inaugural edition is September. If you have anything you want to contribute, or if you want to advertise then get in touch.
It really is a jam-packed edition for you this month and we have increased the pages to fit it all in! As most of you are aware (and if you aren’t, you should be) the Rugby World Cup kicks off in October and I know we’re all super-excited to see the games at stadiummk; did you see the actual cup in centre:mk last month? On the rugby theme we welcome Northampton Saints to the Magazine this month. They will feature regularly in the magazine and their first game against Newcastle Falcons is at stadiummk – make sure you go and see them.
If you find yourself (or currently are) going through a divorce or breaking up with a partner, then you may want to turn to pages 18 and 22; Slater + Gordon Solicitors offer advice about divorce and finances, while Heald offer advice to estranged fathers; some valuable advice there.
Gail Spooner brings us her hot tips for September and has some fabulous face creams to help combat the cold weather that is heading our way. While, for our Fashion expert Cindy Hudson, it’s all about ‘Retrograde’, 70s inspired fashion and Cindy picks out her best bits that won’t break the bank.
Our #WhatsOnPulse pages are packed full of things to keep you occupied this month and our School News pages are as popular as ever. It’s always great to see what the little people of Milton Keynes have been up to, so turn to page 54 to read more.
As always keep in touch on Facebook and Twitter. Have a great month and I will see you all again in October.
